Ar·che·type:Archetypes are elemental forces which play a vital role in the creation of the world and of the human mind itself.
(ärk-tp)

We here like to think of this as a truly a unique community.
Everything on here is real, factual, concrete ideas and facts and concepts. There is NO fluff or flattery, no ribbons and bows. No discussions about the hardships of dating boys, beauty tips, vanity, pro ana, eating disorders, aliments, or self-depravation etc. These will not be of topic.
What’s left if not trivial mundane babble you ask…. Lots….. to name a dew...

- Female deceptions in the media
- The female form used to sell product
- The evolution of feminism
- The ever-changing family unit.
- Females within society.
- Beauty standards and industry.
- Language and its derogatory effects.
- Women and the workplace.
- Equality and equity.
- Race relations and injustices.
- Sexual imagery and the idea of a revolution.
- Advertising and women.
- Violence against women.
- Culture and females.
- Stereotypes and female archetypes.
- Same sex rights and lifestyles.
- Pop culture and female role models.
…and the list goes on…

The point of this community is to converse, share and learn about matters that are of actual concern to people the world over. Subjects with importance and meaning that touch everyone’s lives.

Feel free to join in, learn, discuss, debate, inspire, announce and converse. Free association and freedom of speech is highly respected here.

This is not meant as some elitist thing, its just a back lash to all the crap that’s out there.

What sets this community apart from all the rest:
The term feminism is too loosely used and thrown around. Female archetype is another outlook on modern day feminism. One topic to be largely covered is the actuality of female prototypes that of which are our role models, the icons whom we are to strive to model ourselves after and look up to. Stars are for the most part who children look up to and are mimicking how is this all anything but pretty?

Other forums already being already overcrowded, the same topics get rehashed., and there too many posts to keep up with in a day. femalearchetype is a fresh take on feminism and world issues. We hope to provide different view points and reference material on topics that probably wouldn't be brought up in the other forums.

We’re not wearing feminism like a logo on our sleeve, and are not taking the I am women hear me roar approach.
This is an open community, no cold shoulders, and no judgementalness, and anyone can join.
Men as well as women are encouraged to join.

How different the world would be if people didn't follow another person's lead.
If people truly sat down and thought for themselves. If they arrived at their own conclusion without any outside aid.
If people truly spread out and acted as themselves, as a single person. An individual in it's truest, purest form. - perspectum.

"The Death of Advertising? I think that's in the book of Revelation. It's the day when people everywhere become satisfied with their weight, their hair, their skin, their wardrobe, and their aroma..." (J. Richards)

Read about a feminist on a daily basis: feminist_otd

"”For every girl who is tired of being weak when she is strong, there is a boy tired of appearing strong when he is vulnerable. for every boy who is burdened with the constant expectation of knowing everything, there is a girl who is tired of people not trusting her intelligence. for every girl who is tired of being called over-sensitive, there is a boy who fears to be gentile, to weep. for every boy whom competition is the only way to prove his masculinity, there is a girl who is called unfeminine when she competes. for every girl who throws out her e-z-bake oven, there is a boy who wishes to find one. for every boy struggling not to let advertising dictate his desires, there is a girl facing the ad industry's attacks on her self-esteem. for every girl who takes a step toward her liberation, there is a boy who finds the way to freedom a little bit easier.”
